What to Expect from Baseline Painting: |

Cabinet & Wood Refinishing |
Color Selection: |
| The first step is to decide your cabinet refinishing color. Baseline can reproduce almost any look from any visual source. (Magazine photos, actual wood stain samples, stain colors from a fan deck, and other visual sources) Following, Baseline will provide you with a sample panel of your chosen finish for approval. | |
Scheduling: |
| Baseline will schedule your cabinet refinishing start date after receiving your approved sample panel and price confirmation. Our office staff will always make our best efforts to keep your original project schedule, but at times we may move your start date due to weather or other unforseen circumstances. | |
Before We Start: |
| It is the responsibility of the homeowner to perform miscellaneous duties in the cabinet refinishing area to prepare for crew arrival. Please remove all items from the counter tops in the cabinet area and remove all contents from inside the cabinet boxes. We suggest to use card board boxes for temporary storage for 2 to 3 days. Please make sure to have an area for your pets to spend the day, whether it is in a bedroom, basement area or outside. Available areas for pets to stay in and around the home will depend on size and scope of your refinishing project. | |
Start Date & What To Expect: |
| 1.) Day 1 - 3 Baseline will start by removing all doors and drawer fronts and they will be refinished in an off site facility or a portable spray booth set-up in your garage.
2.) Day 4 The cabinet boxes will be wrapped on site and our crew will cover the floors, countertops, appliances and completely encapsulate the work area creating a spray booth. We control the air flow so there won’t be any exhaust or vapor traveling throughout your home from the kitchen area. Baseline will shoot all of your cabinet boxes on Day 4 and will clear all loose debris from the area. You will have access to your refrigerator directly following the crew departure, which is usually between 4pm and 7pm depending on the size of your kitchen. 3.) Day 5 - The crew will remove all plastic, paper, tape and debris from your project. Following, they will install all door and drawer fronts and wipe the cabinets down. The cabinets can be handled at this time, but it is important to be gentle as the lacquer will not cure 100% for 7 days. .4.) Day 5 - Final Walk Through- The crew leader will walk the project with you and look over all cabinets to verify their completion. Our crew leader will present a simple completion form for you to check-off and sign. 5.) Day 5 - Payment is due in full at time of walk through unless other arrangements were made with Baseline Painting in writing. |
